Valuable Watercolour Resource

I wanted to share an interesting site I use frequently for my art, especially when following tutorials.

Often, an artist will mention a specific colour, but it can be challenging to determine what that colour looks like on screen.

They might also be using a specific brand of paint or medium you don’t have.

On this site, Jane Blundell has swatched colours alongside similar counterparts from various manufacturers. For instance, one company might label a shade of yellow as “Cadmium Lemon,” while another may refer to it as “Lemon Yellow.”

I find this resource helpful for locating comparable colours I have on hand. It also educates me about different tones, warmth, and other aspects of colours.
